Over the last several years, Utah County community leaders convened at several think tanks, which resulted in formalizing an organization for Utah County to combat these inequities.

In 2024, UVWLC launched a significant project called, ‘’She Can I Can.” The project is intended to motivate women and girls to gain confidence in making informed, intentional choices and to be leaders in supporting the decisions of other women.

Utah Women & Leadership Project (UWLP) has designated Utah Valley Women Leadership Collaborative as a Utah County Coalition partner for the statewide Bolder Way Forward initiative. Many members of UVWLC are also involved with and supportive of A Bolder Way Forward.
